What is a GIF?
A Gif is essentially a moving picture.
It is a special format that allows the images to be animated, so you can capture not just one moment, but the the emotions and laughter afterwards.
Will I have to set up the Gif It photo booth myself?
No, we will have an associate or photographer there to set up, monitor, and take down your Gif It.
How much space will it need?
The Gif It is neat and easy, only needing an area about 5″ x 5″. It’s much sleeker and less complicated than a traditional photo booth.
Does it use props?
The Gif It doesn’t need props to be fun. The action is what makes it unique. However, if you would like to add props for an extra element of creativity, you can rent a basket of props for $35 from us or you can provide them yourself. Etsy has several shops that sell props.
Does it use a backdrop?
Most events do not use a backdrop. By turning the Gif It to face the party, it takes up less space and allows larger groups to make an image or gif. In that case, the party becomes the background, which can be very pretty with the DJ’s lights or bistro lights. Some clients create their own backdrops. We also have our own backdrops available for an extra charge if that is something you’d like. We can help you decide which works best for your event.
Can I add my hashtag or an event name to the gifs/pictures my guests make?
Yes, we can create a custom branded overlay that says whatever you want. You can send us logos, wording, hashtags, etc. We can create something that matches your event theme and colors. Adding a logo to your images from a corporate or business event is a great form of social media marketing.
Will I get to see the images and gif video clips that my guests make?
Yes! Once your event is finished, we will send you a link to a full gallery that shows all the fun your guests had with your photo booth. Click to view a sample gallery from a wedding, a birthday party, and a business Christmas party. You will also get all the actual jpgs, gifs, and mp4 files created at your event along with suggestions for projects you can create (with or without our help).
What locations will you travel to?
Although we are located in the Crystal Coast area (Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Havelock, Newport, New Bern, Pine Knoll Shores, Emerald Isle, Swansboro, Jacksonville), we frequently travel to other areas of NC for weddings and events. Depending on our schedules, we may or may not need to charge a travel fee for areas beyond a 100 mile range. Contact us to find out.
Do you offer any other photography services?
Yes, we are connected to wedding and event photographers Ellen LeRoy Photography (Emerald Isle, NC area) and Jim Woltjen (New Bern, NC area). We’d love to put together a custom package for your event that includes a professional photography coverage. When you package your wedding/event photography with the Gif It Photo Booth, you will save on both!
